Publisher's cornflower blue cloth lettered in gilt to spine and upper board, in pictorial dustwrapper, double-page map endpapers at front and rear; pp. [iv], 5-223; with coloured frontispiece and illustrations in line by Alice Bush; a very fresh copy, both externally and internally, without inscription and with only mild browning to inner hinges, in a pleasing, unclipped dustwrapper (7/6) with overall dusting, chipping to spine ends and corners (to a maximum depth of 15mm) and a few short closed edge tears (longest 20mm) now neatly repaired to the reverse with archival tissue-tape.
