Published to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Special Air Service Regiment on behalf of the SAS Regimental Association. 'In early 1946, following the disbanding of the SAS, a former SAS soldier tasked himself with preserving whatever documentation he could get concerning the action of the regiment during World War II. The result was a collation of photographs, operational orders, newspaper articles, and soldiers' reports that were bound together to form a diary. The soldier presented the diary to the SAS Regimental Association shortly before his death' (Publisher's website). - No free shipping.
