Rejecting institutional religions, Rajneesh was an influential Indian spiritual leader, philosopher and founder of a large movement. In the 1960s he became known as 'the sex guru'. After conflicts with the authorities in Oregon he relocated to India and his OSHO International Meditation Resort carries on the teachings which can be regarded as the foundations of the New Age movement.
