This is a novel in letter form which deals in a positive and encouraging way with a number of weighty issues such as childhood loneliness and anxiety. A grade 6 child, Leigh Botts, begins a correspondence with his favourite author, Boyd Henshaw. A list of questions from the writer encourages the boy to look realistically at aspects of his life which are wearing him down and find hidden resources to tackle his problems.
