First edition of this edition of essays on ethical and philosophical implications of the more recent developments of scientific thought of mainly Darwinian nature. Jerzy Karol Kurnatowski (1874-1934) was a Polish lawyer, civil servant, translator of Nietzsche and professor of political science. One chapter title translates as Cosmic Biologism, this is followed by an essay on bio-ethics, and one on Haeckel. - His work on the Poles in Germany and the Germans in Poland of 1927 was translated into French and English.
