First English edition. Tomakishi Nohara was the son of a Japanese father and a German mother who lived in Berlin and wrote in German. In the 1920s he had been a member of the Union of proletarian-revolutionary authors, before, working as a translator under the Nazi's, dealing with documents of the German and Japanese military leaderships. He uimmediately passed on all confidential information to Antifascists in Sweden.
