A beautiful volume of tributes to the pioneering doctor and sex theorist, privately printed by Ishill at his Oriole Press and made up of contributions from admirers as varied as Bertrand Russell, Clifford Bax, H.L. Mencken, Clarence Darrow and E.S.P. Haynes. Also printed is an unpublished letter from Thomas Hardy to Ellis.
