Real Tigers, the third volume in the author's Slough House series, was – like the second instalment, Dead Lions – initially published in the US alone by Soho Press, following poor UK sales of the first volume (Slow Horses), which had been issued by Constable in 2010. John Murray eventually acquired UK rights for the series, publishing the first two books in 2015, followed by this, the first UK edition of Real Tigers, in 2016. The Slough House books have recently adapted for a highly acclaimed television series starring Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb.
