The remaining three works – The Forge (1924), A Saturday Life (1925) and The Master of the House (1932) – followed in 1952. Hall’s two volumes of short stories were not included in the edition (a later eight-volume uniform edition, issued by Hammond, Hammond from 1956, would also include the stories). All the volumes offered here are first editions thus, except, predictably, The Well of Loneliness, which is the third impression of 1950.

SKU: 2126944
