Provenance: front pastedown with bookplate of Fergus Menteith Ogilvie (1862-1918), surgeon and ornithologist whose collection of specimens is hosued as Ipswich Museum. Ffep with bookplate of Duncan Colville of Ardshiel.
First edition. Scarce. More practical in size than the limited edition that followed, this is nonetheless an attractively presented work.
