8vo., origianl brown cloth with a design prined in light bown and letters blocked in gilt on the upper board and the spine, with a gilt top edge; 67 colour-plate illustrations by George Cruikshank, captioned on the tissue guard, including frontispiece 'Special Wrapper' for Oliver Twist; sunning to the spine and top portaion of the upper board, extremities rubbed, a very good, internally fresh copy without the usual offsetting to the end-papers.
First edition. 3000 copies. 'The text consists of extracts from Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, The Miser's Daughter by William Harrison Ainsworth and The History of the Irish Rebellion in 1798 by W. H. Maxwell.'
