Large 8vo.; publisher's striking decorative dark green cloth prettily blocked and panelled to a floral design, in Art Nouveau style, in lighter green and white, top edges gilt, others untrimmed; pp. ix + 199 + [2], publisher's advert., with 25 coloured plates with captioned guards; a near fine copy without any of the usual rubbing to boards, with small bruising to spine ends and turning to forecorner tips with a little associated wear; internally clean with the handsome engraved armorial bookplate of Sir John A Dewar, Bt. to front pastedown endpaper.
