Very rare first edition of these restricted publications detailing 'the experience gained during during the Second World War … in selected fields of military staff work and administration' (all three prefaces).
This series of volumes was complied by authority of the Army Council, with the author being given access to official sources of information, endeavouring to ensure the accuracy of the work as a historical record. Boileau seeks to provide an account of the organisation and developments of the supplies and transport services from a purely technical standpoint. - An analytical assessment of the lessons in logistics learned from the Second World War.
