The night Ferry train was introduced in 1936 by Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits.
The first class sleeping cars and the baggage vans travelled the entire journey from London Victoria to Paris Gare du Nord.
From 1957 a through coach to and from Brussels was added.
The night ferry was withdrawn in 1980.
