BAEDEKER, Karl. Italie Septentrionale jusqu'a Livourne, Florence et Ravenne Leipzig, Baedeker, 1908.
Small 8vo. Original red cloth lettered in gilt and ornamented in blind; pp. lvi, 494, highly illustrated with maps and plans; spine a little rubbed, central folding map bound in askew (cresting fore edge), even light browning due to paper stock, otherwise a very good, externally bright copy.
This Baedeker on Northern Italy probably tells you just about everything you could ever want to know on the area in 1908, including how to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal. Probably. I can't read French.
