Collection: Seton Gordon's Scotland
Seton Gordon (1886-1977) was a naturalist, wanderer, writer and photographer who for many years was synonymous with the highlands and islands of Scotland. Using his home on Skye as his base, he roamed the west of the country in search of scenery, folklore and wildlife, most especially birds. He and his wife Audrey became experts in photographing birds, producing arresting images of all kinds of species but particularly the golden eagle, which Gordon felt embodied the spirit of the highlands. This collection of first editions represents the best of his work and covers the whole range of his achievements.
