Third edition, revised. A comprehensive guide by the Nottingham tackle maker William Bailey. He deals with all fish except salmon, being very much a man of the Midlands: "I have never had opportunities of fishing for the Kng of fresh-water" (p. v). He recommends the works of "Ephemera" for the salmon fisher.
