ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS. London from the South Side of the Thames. London: Supplement to the Illustrated London News, 1861.
An impressive birds-eye view engraving of London (150 x 58cm); webbing beginning to show in places, particularly along the fold lines, some small stains, small hole not affecting map to upper edge.
Centering on St. Paul's Cathedral and extending from Millbank to St. Catherine's Dock. Attributed to Thomas Sulman, who would have drawn the map from a balloon, and engraved by Robert Loudan Sr for publication by ILN.
