First edition. Sanserson was a serious naturalist, funded by the Linnean Society, but not a serious writer. This is an entertaining account of the author's adventures with animals in rthe Caribbean and Mexico. He encounters crocodiles, wild horses, strange amphibians, all kinds of birds, revolting insects and some very charmng mammals.
