Original glazed pictorial paper-covered boards, preserved in pictorial dustwrapper; pp. ; strikingly illustrated with pictorial title and full-bleed coloured plates on every page with text in calligraphic font; a very attractive copy; externally near fine with some compression to head of spine and rubbing to forecorner tips; internally very fresh throughout with slight foxing to endpapers and a neat contemporary ink inscription to front free endpaper; protected by a clean and attractive, unclipped dustwrapper (3rd Impression, 5s.) with a small triangle of loss to top edge of upper joint fold (15mm), now cleverly made good, with an associated, and unobtrusive, closed tear (45mm) now expertly repaired to the reverse with archival tissue.
